Yes! Once fat cells are destroyed with CoolSculpting®️ and removed from the body, they cannot be regenerated. Each time you treat an area with CoolSculpting®️, you can expect up to 25%* reduction. And what's wonderful about this technology is that CoolSculpting®️ is safe to treat with multiple times, should you want more reduction.

No! There is no required downtime after a CoolSculpting®️ procedure. However, some may experience discomfort in the treatment site like temporary redness, tingling, numbness or itching. Given that patients won't experience downtime, it's entirely possible to come in during your lunch break!

CoolSculpting®️ is a safe, noninvasive treatment. Take a brand new ice pack out of the freezer and place it on your bare skin – this is roughly what the procedure will feel like. Some patients may experience a minor burning or tingling sensation that subsides after a few minutes, similar to when you run warm water over cold hands. 

After each application is done, your specialist will perform a 2 minute manual massage to help break down the crystallized fat cells and bring the temperature back to normal. This can feel slightly uncomfortable, but will quickly subside. Within minutes, your body will not show signs of treatment.

Yes! We routinely offer combination treatments for efficient use of your time and optimal results. CoolTone™, developed by the engineers behind CoolSculpting®️, works to tone the body with the power of intense strength training while you sit back and relax. CoolTone™ pairs excellently with CoolSculpting®️ for a total care makeover.

A typical candidate for CoolSculpting®️ will likely need 1–2 treatments to a given area. We offer free consultations to better assess the areas you would like to treat.

We offer virtual or in-office consultations at either our Melbourne or Merritt Island location. Patients can let us know when scheduling their appointment if they would like same-day treatment. Your complimentary CoolSculpting®️ consultation will take about 30 minutes, and we'll provide a specific treatment plan and price estimate.

Results can be seen in as little as 3 weeks, but the best results are seen in 1–3 months. Some results can take up to 6 months to fully develop. 

There are typically no side effects from CoolSculpting®️. However, some patients may feel temporary redness, tingling, numbness or itching – these effects are transient and will completely resolve with time. Choosing an experienced provider for your treatment significantly reduces the risk of very rare complications such as scarring, nerve damage or infection.

It's quite common to have problem areas on your body that don't respond to diet and exercise. In truth, these fat deposits likely contain more fat cells than surrounding areas, and they may not be a sign of needing to lose additional weight. This is one of the many reasons CoolSculpting®️ is an ideal solution – stubborn fat can be targeted without the experience of strenuous, invasive procedures. 

When the average adult* gains weight, their fat cells simply expand like balloons - likewise, losing weight means these cells shrink. Once treated with CoolSculpting®️, the number of fat cells in a problem area is permanently reduced, and with repeated treatments, fat deposits can be eliminated to a minimal or almost fully removed state. The body's natural processes then safely and painlessly remove crystallized fat cells from your treatment areas.

Just like any other dead cell in your body, fat cells crystallized from CoolSculpting®️ are processed out naturally through digestion, metabolization and the lymphatic drainage system. You will not be able to see these cells leaving your body or feel any differently during the process – patients can relax as they allow CoolSculpting®️ to do its work! 

Generally healthy individuals around 20–30 pounds or less from their goal weight who are looking to treat areas of stubborn fat. Those above 30 pounds may still receive CoolSculpting®️ – however, more treatments may be needed to achieve optimal results. Those who are closer to 50+ pounds over their goal weight or are not suited for CoolSculpting®️ may benefit from our alternative solutions for body sculpting.

When you decide to treat with CoolSculpting®️, the ideal applicators are chosen for each treatment area, depending on its size and location – these applicators are specially designed to conform to different parts of the body. Your specialist will then apply the applicators to the treatment area, such as the CoolMini to the chin, and they will remain through the duration of the treatment (usually 35–45 minutes).

When these applicators are placed on, a vacuum-like suction gently pulls and holds the fat in a tissue cup, which then brings the temperature down gradually to -11° C. This stimulates a process called apoptosis, which is a programmed cell death. No other cells or organs are harmed, just the subcutaneous fat! When the treatment is complete, your specialist will provide a manual massage to further break down the fat cells. Your treatment area will return to its normal state after the massage, so you won't have to worry about treated fat feeling like a block of ice.

CoolSculpting®️ is an FDA-cleared cryolipolysis treatment designed for noninvasive fat reduction in 9 areas of the body. Procedures like Velashape and Venus Freeze are laser treatments which shrink fat cells temporarily. While you may see a reduction in the appearance of fat deposits, there is no sustained damage to the fat cells. CoolSculpting®️ eliminates fat cells for good, holding the patent for freezing fat cells at -11° C. This has been proven by rigorous Harvard-based studies to be the temperature at which multiple layers of fat cells crystalize are eliminated from your body.
